We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing Specialist to join our team for the summer through the Government of Canada’s Canada Summer Jobs program. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with a strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities. The Marketing Specialist supports the Health Foundation by developing and executing the annual marketing plan, managing day-to-day social media and digital communications, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all platforms. This role also provides creative and logistical support for signature events and campaigns, collaborates with internal teams and partners to enhance community engagement, and contributes to strategies that strengthen donor awareness and support to effectively advance the foundation's mission. The role additionally will support coordinating logistics for annual events, managing stakeholder communication, and supporting day-to-day tasks, ensuring efficient workflow to enable the team to focus on strategic initiatives and effectively advance the foundation's mission.

Eligibility
- Must meet the Canada Summer Jobs program criteria
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a marketing, communications, or digital media role.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in marketing technology, social media management tools, and design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Proven experience (or strong academic portfolio) in content creation, managing digital campaigns, and maintaining brand consistency.
- A bachelor's degree, diploma, or active enrollment in a marketing, communications, digital media, public relations, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
