ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EFFECTIVENESS
Organizational Development Consultants are trusted internal consultants who partner with leaders, teams, and departments to strengthen individual, team and leadership capabilities, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness. Through consulting, facilitation, coaching, training, and program development, they support the growth and development of employees, teams and leaders across the college. Using evidence-based practices, they advance the college’s strategic priorities. This role specializes in the development of leaders while contributing to a broad range of OD&E initiatives.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Design, implement, and continuously improve leadership development programs, coaching, succession planning, and talent development initiatives aligned with organizational competencies.
- Build collaborative and trusted relationships by partnering with leaders, teams, and departments to understand needs, identify opportunities, and co-create solutions.
- Provide strategic consultation, facilitation, and support to leaders and teams to enhance organizational effectiveness, performance, and decision making.
- Design, develop, facilitate, and evaluate learning and development programs, workshops, retreats, and planning sessions that build individual, team, and organizational capability.
- Assess development needs and recommend learning and development interventions using adult learning principles and evidence-based practices.
- Partner with leaders and teams to assess organizational effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, structures, service delivery, and ways of working.
- Lead and support organizational change initiatives by assessing readiness, stakeholder impacts, and change risks, and implementing strategies that promote engagement, adoption, and sustainability.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data, research, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement practices to identify trends, inform strategies, and measure outcomes.
- Conduct needs assessments, surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other research activities, and translate findings into meaningful insights, recommendations, and reports.
- Assess organizational culture and employee experience and implement strategies that strengthen engagement, inclusion, belonging, psychological safety, collaboration, and team effectiveness.
- Lead and manage multiple organizational development and effectiveness projects, including planning, stakeholder engagement, communication, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
- Undergraduate Degree in relevant field (e.g. social sciences, sciences, and business) is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Organizational Development and/or Organizational Effectiveness (equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a post-secondary education institution or public-sector organization.
- Previous leadership or people management experience is considered an asset.
- Experience developing and facilitating high-quality, evidence-based learning programs for diverse employee groups.
- Experience developing and implementing leadership development programs, including:
- People leader learning experiences
- Leadership events and workshops
- Coaching and mentoring programs
- Other leadership development initiatives
- Experience designing and delivering team development programs, including both proactive and remedial interventions (e.g., CliftonStrengths, team effectiveness workshops, and related approaches).
- Experience administering, analyzing, and applying engagement survey results and employee experience data to inform organizational initiatives.
- Experience facilitating process improvement, change management, and business improvement initiatives.

SALARY: $94,616.58 - $118,303.74 annually, reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience.
