Role Overview:
You will be responsible for overseeing the Policy Issuance process for B2B Group Business as a Deputy Manager/Manager in Noida. Your main role will involve leading and managing the end-to-end policy issuance process within the insurance company. This includes ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high levels of accuracy, and adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards. You will play a crucial role in optimizing processes, implementing technology solutions, and ensuring timely and accurate policy delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire policy issuance lifecycle, including scrutinizing application and other documents, uploading insured data into the policy admin system, generating master policy documents, and dispatching them to customers.
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all policy applications while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and internal benchmarks.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of policy issuance specialists to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with underwriting, sales, claims, Partner Onboarding, Finance, and other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless policy issuance.
- Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to policy issuance such as turnaround time, error rates, and volumes.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on operational performance, trends, and challenges.
- Address and resolve complex policy issuance queries and escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure closure of open debit/credit balances within defined timelines.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations for internal and external audits.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the policy issuance process, explore solutions for improvement, and develop automation tools for enhanced accuracy.
- Utilize technology and automation tools to optimize workflows and reduce manual intervention.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., LOMA, FLMI, AIII, FIII) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in insurance operations, with a significant focus on policy issuance.
- Proven experience in a team leadership or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products such as Life, General, Health, etc.
- Understanding of B2O, Group Credit Life Insurance products would be preferred.
