Eligibility
Essential Qualification(s):
- First Class Postgraduate Degree / M.Tech / MPharm (minimum 60% or CGPA 6.5) including integrated PG degrees in Engineering or Basic Sciences (GATE Qualified mandatory with valid GATE/GPAT/NET score).
OR
- First Class Graduate Degree of Four Years (minimum 60% or CGPA 6.5) in Engineering/IT/CS/Pharmacy (GATE Qualified mandatory for Graduate degree holders with valid GATE/GPAT/NET score)
- For MSc. holders, GATE / GPAT / CSIR-NET JRF Qualified is mandatory with valid GATE score as per Institute rule.
- All other guidelines and conditions apply as per OM SB/S9/Z-06/2019 dt.01-02-24
- All educational qualifications / certificates shall be from the recognized Board / University.
- All experience gained shall be preferably from Govt. Organisations and shall be counted from the date of completion Minimum Essential Qualification
Desirable Qualification:
- Preferrably M.Tech/B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering/M. Pharm /M.Tech in Electronics Engineering/ M.Tech or MSc in Biotechnology/Chemistry with valid GATE/GPAT Score.
- Prior experience of working with biosensors / AI / bio-electronics / electrochemistry/diabetes is desirable and preferred.
Requirements
- Development and testing of biosensors in the lab
- Development of electronic data read out and test platforms for sensors in collaboration with other team members.
- Preparing and maintaining documents for project related work.
- Liasing with project partner organisations, both clinical and manufacturing on collaborative tasks related to the project.
- Attending and presenting research work at premier conferences, meetings.
- The candidate is expected to enroll for PhD program at the Institute, subject to fullfilment of Institute PhD admissions criteria as per NITR/AC/Res/2026/M/0916 dt.10-Apr-2026
Age Limit
Upper age limit for applying for the award of project position shall be 28 years, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes / Schedule Tribes / PWD and Female applicants whereas 3 years in the case of OBCs (Non-creamy layer candidates). Upper age limit shall be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of applications.
