Role Overview: You are a passionate software engineer who excels in software engineering and understands its role in the broader Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You are adept at modeling the world, utilizing design patterns, object-oriented design, functional programming, and test-driven development. Your experience includes developing multiple applications from inception, with many still actively used by satisfied users. Collaboration is key for you, as you thrive in a team environment, providing and receiving feedback on code. You are familiar with agile practices and value delivering small, incremental improvements through continuous delivery pipelines. Your pride lies in the quality, security, and robustness of the code you produce, which translates to the systems you implement. Key Responsibilities: - Work as a pivotal member of the development team, contributing to laying the technical foundations of the products under development. - Collaborate with an Agile team to influence the system architecture and performance goals. - Ensure timely delivery of software projects while upholding quality standards. - Uphold high software quality by writing unit and integration tests following the Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach. - Identify and resolve application and data issues affecting application integrity. - Address defects and performance issues uncovered during testing. - Propose initiatives, such as training, to enhance efficiency and quality. - Actively participate in agile practices like estimating and planning. Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in web development using JavaScript (Angular + TypeScript, NodeJs). - Proficiency in NX monorepos and building Single Page Applications. - Experience with pre-processor languages for CSS like LESS or SASS. - Knowledge of REST, API design, and automated testing with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. - Familiarity with End-to-End testing using Playwright or Cypress. - Proficiency in unit testing and mocking frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, JustMock, Mockito. - Understanding of version control tools like GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, and their configuration with CI/CD pipelines. - Good grasp of Design Patterns and object-oriented design principles (SOLID principles, Dependency Injection, Factory pattern). - Open and collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills in English. Additional Information: It would be beneficial if you had experience with databases, including No-SQL databases, IT architectures, enterprise web-applications, Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms, and Micro frontend architecture.
