Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseman to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas to uphold cleanliness standards
- Assist with laundry and linen services as needed
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials in designated areas
- Ensure all areas are maintained in a sanitary and organized manner
- Support maintenance staff with minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention
- Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
- Assist guests with their needs when required, providing courteous and professional service
- Maintain cleanliness of storage closets and supply rooms
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and procedures is a plus
- Experience with cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals used in commercial or industrial settings is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
