Frontend Developer (React.js)

PLEASE NOTE:

This is not a C2C/C2H, candidate MUST be willing to work on W2.

The team is building a new customer-facing UI for a media processing platform that currently operates primarily through APIs. The platform allows internal and external customers to upload media (video, PDFs, images, etc.) for processing, extract metadata, and visualize results. This role will be responsible for developing the UI that enables customer onboarding, job submission, and media visualization.

What This Person Will Do

• Build and enhance the React-based frontend for the media processing platform.
• Develop the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) and API layer to integrate with existing data APIs.
• Create user experiences for customer onboarding, media submission, and results visualization.
• Collaborate with backend teams and occasionally assist with API development when needed.
• Work in a Kubernetes-based environment with automated deployment pipelines.

Must-Have Skills

• 5–8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong React expertise (most critical skill).
• Strong JavaScript experience.
• Experience building UI applications and integrating with APIs.
• Node.js experience (can be learned if React skills are strong).
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with AWS.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative Agile environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Golang experience (used on the data API side).
• Experience working with media processing, video applications, or visualization tools.
