Currently, we are looking for High School English Teacher (on-site) who are capable and passionate about their subjects and can commit to the work schedule.
Responsibility
Teach Ontario high school credit courses in assigned subject areas
Support student academic success and learning skill development
Commit to inspiring students’ intellectual, creative, and physical potential to develop a passion for lifelong learning
Actively contribute to curriculum improvement and instructional effectiveness assessment
Qualification
OCT in good standing is required,
Able to teach ESL(Type: academic, university preparation), Social Science and Humanities (grade 11-12)
Excellent oral, written, communication and presentation skills,
Computer literacy: proficient and knowledgeable with Word processors, spreadsheets, Email, Internet.
Experience in a private school is preferred and comfortable teaching international students.
Understands the needs of students and goes beyond the call of duty.
Excellent classroom management, organization and planning skills.
Thrives in a positive team environment and easily adapts to new things.
Communicates with parents, students, and co-workers in a respectful and supportive manner.
Confident solving problems and providing solutions when issues arise.
Works with a high standard of integrity.
