About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Talent Partner, AI & Engineering to help shape the teams building our future. This is a highly strategic role combining executive recruiting, talent advisory, and HR business partnership. You'll work directly with senior leaders to hire world-class talent, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and build high-performing engineering organizations.

This is not a traditional recruiting role.

As a Senior Talent Partner, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to executives and engineering leaders, helping solve some of the company's most important talent challenges. You'll influence hiring strategy, partner on workforce planning and organizational decisions, coach leaders through complex people situations, and recruit exceptional technical talent in one of the most competitive markets in the world.

Success in this role requires strong executive presence, exceptional judgment, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving AI company where priorities evolve quickly.

This position is 100% in-office (Monday through Friday) at our Mountain View headquarters.

What You'll Work On

Executive Talent Partnership

  • Partner directly with executives and senior engineering leaders on long-term talent strategy and organizational planning.
  • Influence hiring priorities, organizational design, succession planning, and leadership team effectiveness.
  • Advise leaders using market intelligence, hiring data, and competitive talent insights.

Technical Recruiting

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for high-impact Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, Infrastructure, Product, and leadership positions.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent from leading AI companies and Silicon Valley technology firms.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive-level candidates while delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
  • Maintain an exceptionally high hiring bar through structured assessments and rigorous interview processes.

HR Business Partnership

  • Partner with leaders throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee development, organizational planning, and retention.
  • Coach managers through sensitive employee situations with sound judgment, discretion, and business acumen.
  • Identify organizational risks proactively and recommend practical, scalable solutions.

Talent Intelligence & Operational Excellence

  • Leverage recruiting metrics and talent market intelligence to influence business decisions.
  • Champion AI-powered recruiting workflows, sourcing automation, and operational excellence.
  • Continuously improve recruiting effectiveness, interview quality, hiring velocity, and overall talent experience.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of combined experience in technical recruiting, talent acquisition, HR business partnering, or a hybrid talent role.
  • Experience supporting engineering organizations in high-growth Silicon Valley technology companies or AI-first organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence executives through data, judgment, and business partnership.
  • Track record of successfully hiring software engineers, AI/ML engineers, infrastructure engineers, technical leaders, or other highly competitive technical talent.
  • Strong understanding of organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Willingness to work on-site five days per week in Mountain View.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting organizations in frontier AI, LLM, agentic AI, or generative AI.
  • Experience partnering directly with founders, C-level executives, or senior engineering leadership.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered recruiting tools, sourcing automation, and talent analytics.
  • Experience supporting globally distributed engineering teams.
  • Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
