Program Manager (ID#5293)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting firm, is seeking a Program Manager to work with senior executives to support the execution of a major business transformation initiative.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to refining strategic objectives and the overall program vision.
• Ability to work with Product Manager, and other functional leads within the program to establish program approach and initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of a program measurement framework that will monitor program progress and will be used to evaluate potential projects.
• Plan, manage and oversee all project management aspects of the program, connecting regularly with functional teams to guide them, monitor and report on progress.
• Experience in planning and facilitating sessions, innovative problem solving, possess strong PowerPoint presentation skills, be able to motivate project teams to deliver, and maintain positive relationships with project teams, sponsor(s), managers, and heads of divisions.
• Creation and delivery of clear executive briefings to senior leaders.
• Coordinate and/or lead a diverse set of business projects which make up a program, including overseeing resource planning, risk management, assembling appropriate information to make decisions and monitoring progress of the entire program.
• Overseeing the program budget and all budget tracking and forecasting processes, coaching project managers and leads as needed
• Coordinating various work streams into the overall program plan.

Deliverables:

• Presentations for Project and Executive Steering Committees, chairing the Steering committee meetings.
• Workshop facilitation plans and materials.
• Project/Program Plan(s).
• Statement of Work or Project Charter.
• Create and QA Project Management standards and templates: including Logs for decisions, risks and issues, status, RACI, etc. Options/recommendations papers.
• Planning and tracking resourcing.
• Forecasting and reporting on program financials.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in program or project management, with demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-workstream programs in a large organizational environment.
• Proven ability to manage full program lifecycle delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resource planning across multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience developing and maintaining program governance structures, including steering committee management, executive reporting, and escalation frameworks.
• Strong financial acumen, with hands-on experience managing program budgets, forecasting, and variance reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement program measurement frameworks, including KPIs, milestone tracking, and benefits realization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing and delivering executive-level briefings and presentations to senior and C-suite stakeholders.
• Experience authoring and reviewing core project management artifacts, including program plans, Statements of Work, Project Charters, RACI matrices, risk and issue logs, and status reports.
• Skilled facilitator with demonstrated experience designing and leading workshops, stakeholder sessions, and cross-functional working groups.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a matrixed reporting structure, coordinating across functional leads, product managers, and senior leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint; ability to translate complex program information into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project/program management certification is strongly preferred (or demonstrated equivalent experience).
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Prosci certification an asset.

The hourly rate range for this position is $95 - $120, with the final rate based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
