Key Responsibilities
- Architect & Automate: Design and scale robust automated test frameworks (primarily Python-based) for continuous high-quality delivery.
- ML Validation: Develop data-driven testing strategies tailored for Machine Learning models and complex datasets.
- Hybrid Development: Contribute to backend feature development and code reviews, ensuring quality is built into the system from the start.
- Technical Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive test plans for REST services, including edge-case validation.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and code review feedback to junior team members.
- Troubleshooting: Lead deep-dive debugging sessions to resolve complex system issues and regressions.
Experience and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in software development or automation engineering.
- Python Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience with clean, maintainable, object-oriented Python code.
- Technical Stack: Strong proficiency with PyTest, Selenium, and REST API testing tools (e.g., Requests).
- Environment: Comfortable with UNIX-like systems and Bash scripting.
- Cloud Native: Experience with Docker and AWS ecosystem.
- Agile Mindset: Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and quality standards.
- Communication: Strong analytical and communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a lead or “Quality Champion” in cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in global teams across multiple time zones.
- Exposure to Java or other backend-focused languages.
