Job Description
As a Product QA Engineer at NeuroDiscovery AI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications. Your responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and AI teams, you will validate features, identify issues early, and contribute to shipping robust, scalable products. Your role will also entail collaborating with developers and product managers to understand requirements and edge cases, documenting and tracking bugs for timely resolution, and validating data accuracy and workflows, particularly for data-driven features. Additionally, you will contribute to test automation, improve QA processes, and uphold product quality across web applications, dashboards, and APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of product features
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and edge cases
- Identify, document, and track bugs; ensure timely resolution
- Validate data accuracy and workflows, especially for data-driven features
- Contribute to test automation and improve QA processes
- Ensure product quality across web applications, dashboards, and APIs
Qualifications Required:
- 23 years of experience in Product QA and Software Testing
- Experience working in product-based or startup environments preferred
Skills
Core Skills:
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing lifecycle
- Experience with manual testing (functional, regression, UAT)
- Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar tools)
- Familiarity with SQL for data validation
- Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.) is a plus
- Understanding of web technologies (frontend, backend basics)
Nice to Have
- Experience testing data-heavy or analytics products
- Exposure to healthcare or clinical data systems
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum workflows
