About the Role:

Responsible for supporting Health Care Professional (HCP) and patient marketing activities for Neurocrine products in the US. Contributes to the development and execution of brand strategies and promotional programs; collaborates closely with cross-functional partners to support successful commercialization and achievement of business objectives. Serves as a key member of the brand team, leading major initiatives and driving execution of strategic priorities while providing subject matter expertise on the product, market, and treatment landscape.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):

  • Supports development and execution of the brand’s operational plan, including annual business planning activities, tactical implementation, budgeting, and marketing communications

  • Leads key components of brand strategy and commercialization efforts while ensuring alignment with broader brand objectives

  • Serves as a subject matter expert for assigned products, market dynamics, customer needs, and treatment landscape

  • Partners closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, Legal, Regulatory, Commercial Operations, Strategic Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support implementation of brand strategies

  • Leads development and execution of innovative HCP and patient-focused promotional programs, including personal and non-personal promotion, digital initiatives, and peer-to-peer education programs

  • Drives creation and execution of HCP and consumer-facing promotional materials and field resources

  • Analyzes market trends, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market research to identify opportunities and inform brand decisions

  • Serves as a marketing representative on promotional review activities and helps ensure promotional materials comply with legal, regulatory, ethical, and company requirements

  • Manages agency partners and external vendors to ensure high-quality execution of marketing initiatives aligned with brand priorities

  • Supports management of brand budgets and monitors expenditures to ensure alignment with approved plans

  • Builds and maintains productive relationships with thought leaders, advocacy organizations, and professional groups to support brand objectives

  • Leads complex cross-functional projects with significant business impact and provides recommendations to address strategic and operational challenges.

  • May mentor less-experienced marketers and provide leadership across cross-functional project teams

  • Ensures compliance with all corporate policies, regulations, and applicable laws

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in a scientific or business discipline AND 10+ years of relevant experience, including significant pharmaceutical marketing and/or sales experience with demonstrated success supporting brand strategy and commercialization initiatives. OR

  • Master's or MBA degree preferred AND 8+ years of related experience OR

  • PhD AND 6+ years of related experience

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical brand planning and commercialization processes

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment among stakeholders

  • Experience translating strategic objectives into effective tactical execution

  • Strong understanding of HCP and patient marketing channels, including digital and omnichannel approaches

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

  • Experience managing external agencies and vendor partners

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Emerging internal thought leader with strong technical and business expertise within the commercial organization

  • Applies in-depth knowledge of brand management, commercialization, and pharmaceutical marketing to solve complex business issues.

  • Leads highly complex projects and initiatives requiring cross-functional collaboration and influence

  • Uses critical thinking, analytical skills, and sound judgment to evaluate business challenges and recommend solutions

  • Strong communication, presentation, project leadership, and influencing skills.

  • Preferred experience includes:

  • Pharmaceutical brand marketing experience

  • Experience managing agency partners (creative, media, digital, and market research)

  • Experience supporting product launches and/or major commercial initiatives

  • Prior leadership of cross-functional projects and teams

  • Previous people management experience desirable but not required

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $173,900.00-$238,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
