Key Responsibilities:

1. Fire Safety Management

• Develop and implement fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
• Ensure compliance with local fire safety laws, regulations, and hospital safety standards.
• Conduct regular fire risk assessments and safety audits.

2. Equipment Inspection & Maintenance

• Ensure proper functioning of fire detection and firefighting systems (fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, sprinklers, smoke detectors, etc.).
• Schedule periodic inspection, testing, and maintenance of all fire safety equipment.
• Maintain records of inspections and certifications.

3. Training & Awareness

• Conduct fire safety training programs and mock drills for staff on a regular basis.
• Educate employees on fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and emergency response.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure readiness during emergencies.

4. Emergency Response

• Act as the incident controller during fire emergencies.
• Coordinate evacuation procedures and ensure safe exit of patients, staff, and visitors.
• Liaise with local fire authorities and emergency services.

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain all fire safety records, logs, and reports.
• Ensure timely renewal of fire safety licenses and NOCs.
• Prepare reports for management on safety status and improvements.

6. Coordination

• Work closely with engineering, housekeeping, and security departments.
• Supervise fire safety staff and security personnel related to fire duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Fire Safety, Fire Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in Fire & Safety Management preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire safety, preferably in hospitals, industries, or large institutions.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and systems.
• Good leadership and emergency handling skills.
• Ability to conduct training and awareness programs.
• Attention to detail and risk assessment capability.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Additional Requirements

• Physically fit and capable of responding to emergencies.
• Willingness to work in shifts or be on-call during emergencies.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
