Narvar is growing! We are looking for Fullstack Software Engineers that enjoy working on both APIs and UIs. In this role, you will build products that power the post-purchase experience for the biggest brands in the retail industry. As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will have a direct impact on our customer-facing products and work with modern technologies like Java, NodeJS, Python, React, and GraphQL to ship complex features that drive millions of views. Day-to-day Frontend Development (Primary Focus) <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Implement new product features & support/ extend existing ones</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Build frontend platform components leveraged across our internal, external products and ecommerce storefronts like Shopify, Salesforce etc</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Contribute to our overall architecture and maintain code quality standards by partnering with other senior engineers</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Work with product and design teams to translate wireframes and mockups into functional UI components</li> </ul> Backend Development (Secondary Focus) <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Contribute to development and maintenance of backend services using Golang, Node.js</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Understanding of google cloud platform (GCP) , CI/CD and be able to deploy code and infrastructure components</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Work with databases like postgres, spanner, bigquery</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Understand and implement RESTful or GraphQL APIs</li> </ul> What we're looking for <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">You have a BS/MS in computer science, information systems, or equivalent</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">You have 10+ years of experience building reliable, scalable, and high-quality systems</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience in building consumer facing applications with a frontend framework(s), such as React (preferable), Svelte Angular, Vue or Ember</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience building well-designed software with NodeJS or Golang</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience developing consumer facing applications consuming various APIs from a microservice backend system</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Knowledge of full development life cycle and computer science fundamentals</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong focus on code quality and code reviews</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with mentoring other engineers</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Previous startup experience strongly preferred with growth and product engineering mindset</li> </ul> <h4>Why Narvar?</h4> We're on a mission to simplify the everyday lives of consumers. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across the US.
