Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

In this role, you will build products that power the post-purchase experience for the biggest brands in the retail industry. As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will have a direct impact on our customer-facing products and work with modern technologies like NodeJS, React, PostgreSQL and GraphQL to ship complex features that drive millions of views.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Day-to-day</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Implement new product features &amp; support/ extend existing ones</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Build REST and GraphQL APIs that support a high volume of traffic</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Build frontend platform components leveraged across our internal and external products</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Contribute to our overall architecture and development experience partnering with other senior engineers</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What we're looking for</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You have a BS/MS in computer science, information systems, or equivalent</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You have 7+ years of experience building reliable, scalable, and high-quality systems</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with a frontend framework(s), such as React, Svelte Angular, Vue or Ember</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience building well-designed software with NodeJS, React and PostgreSQL</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience developing consumer facing applications consuming various APIs from a microservice backend system</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience defining REST or GraphQL APIs for new features</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Knowledge of full development life cycle and computer science fundamentals</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with mentoring other engineers</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Previous startup experience strongly preferred</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Proficiency in utilising AI tools like Claude, Cursor, Copilot etc</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Bonus point</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience working with Java, SpringBoot or Golang knowledge is a plus point</span></li> </ul> <h4><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Why Narvar?</strong></span></h4> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">We're on a mission to simplify the everyday lives of consumers.
