We are hiring a UI Developer to own the frontend implementation of interactive, animation-rich interfaces. This role sits at the intersection of design fidelity and engineering rigor. You will translate high-fidelity Figma prototypes into production-grade React components, build complex motion systems with Framer Motion and GSAP, and ensure every interaction feels instantaneous across devices and network conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js (App Router), ensuring cross-browser compatibility and pixel-perfect implementation of UI designs.

2. Create complex, performant animations and micro-interactions using Framer Motion and GSAP, optimizing for 60fps rendering on desktop and mobile devices while respecting reduced-motion preferences.

3. Translate Figma designs into clean, modular, and reusable React components with Tailwind CSS, adhering to a defined design system and contributing new patterns back to the component library.

4. Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs using TanStack Query or SWR, managing server state, caching, and error boundaries for graceful degradation.

5. Implement automated testing (unit, integration, visual regression) with Jest, React Testing Library, and Chromatic, maintaining code coverage above 80% for critical UI components.

6. Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts via OpenAPI specs, participating in code reviews to enforce coding standards, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and performance budgets.

7. Optimize frontend performance through code-splitting, lazy loading, image optimization (next/image), and bundle analysis with webpack-bundle-analyzer, achieving Lighthouse scores >90 for Performance and Accessibility.

8. Maintain and improve the component library documentation using Storybook, writing stories for all states (loading, error, empty, interactive) and ensuring design consistency across multiple product lines.

9. Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives) and contribute to estimation of UI tasks using story points, flagging technical debt early.

10. Troubleshoot production UI issues via Sentry and LogRocket, providing root cause analysis and deploying hotfixes within defined SLA targets.

Work Environment & Culture:

Our team of 12 engineers works on-site from our Korattur office five days a week. We value deep work blocks — meetings are clustered in the late morning. Pair programming is encouraged for complex animation work. Knowledge sharing happens through weekly "frontend demos" where anyone can showcase a new technique, library, or bug fix. We use Linear for issue tracking, GitHub for version control with trunk-based development, and Vercel for preview deployments on every PR.

Candidate Requirements:

• 1–2 years of professional frontend experience building production React/Next.js applications.
• Demonstrable portfolio or GitHub repositories showing advanced Framer Motion or GSAP implementations (scroll-triggered animations, layout transitions, drag gestures).
• Strong command of modern CSS: CSS Grid, Flexbox, custom properties, container queries, and Tailwind CSS utility-first workflow.
• Experience consuming APIs (REST/GraphQL) with proper loading, error, and empty states.
• Proficiency with Git: branching strategies, interactive rebase, conventional commits.
• Understanding of browser rendering pipeline (layout, paint, composite) and ability to profile with Chrome DevTools Performance panel.
• Comfortable writing TypeScript (strict mode) and configuring tsconfig for a monorepo.
• Ability to communicate design trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Hiring Process:
