Senior Front End Software Engineer

We are currently looking to hire a full-time senior front end developer.

Our product requires experience in React and TypeScript and we are looking for a team member who loves to build and deliver amazing products to improve business flows and customer experiences.

The successful candidate will be passionate about great design and functionality, coaching team members and will be proud of building beautiful and functional products as a core member of our team.

What you will be doing:

Develop web applications using React, TypeScript, Redux, styled-components, and Jest to deliver a seamless user experience on the MyFO platform.

Experience with functional programming, distributed systems, or microservices is a plus.Design and implement interactive, data-driven dashboards that provide MyFO clients with intuitive insights and real-time data visualization.Build responsive, high-performance, and accessible applications that work seamlessly across devices, ensuring all users have a positive experience.Champion great UX practices across the company, advocating for user-centered design principles and continuous improvement in usability.Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to meet project milestones and ensure timely feature releases.Innovate and propose solutions to continually enhance MyFO's client experience and operational efficiency.Stay updated on evolving technologies, adding to your expertise to keep MyFO at the forefront of fintech innovation.

You have:

At least 5+ years of extensive experience in web development using React to build sophisticated, dynamic applications.Industry experience in finance, wealth management, or financial services, with an understanding of domain-specific challenges and client expectations.Proficiency in reactive programming concepts to create responsive, event-driven interfaces.Experience integrating third-party APIs for seamless data exchange and functionality enhancement within the MyFO platform.Familiarity with design systems and component documentation tools (e.g., Storybook, Styleguidist) to ensure consistency and reusability across the application.Strong skills in responsive web design, ensuring MyFO's interface provides an optimal experience across all device types.

This is a full time position.

HQ is located in Vancouver, BC, but we're remote friendly.

The base pay range for this position in Canada is $100k - $140k / year.
