Web Backend Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Web Backend Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend solutions for web applications. Responsibilities

• Web Backend Development and Server Maintenance
• HIPAA compliance and security standards: Ensure encryption and secure data handling across all web systems.
• Optimize performance and scalability: Improve code efficiency, implement caching strategies, and manage AWS-hosted services.
• Manage deployments and CI/CD pipelines: Maintain automated deployments using GitHub Actions for AWS infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and maintain stability: Ensure backend services are stable and reliable for all front-end consumers.

Qualifications

• Expertise in backend web systems and system administration
• Experience working with headless CMS systems
• Proficiency with server side JS
• Experience managing AWS infrastructure
• Strong familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL / SQLite etc.)
• Self-starter who can work independently, drive technical decisions, and troubleshoot autonomously.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and encryption standards.
• Experience integrating biometric sensor data or real-time biofeedback into applications is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS deployments.
• Mastery of the English language
