THE JOB
We are seeking a Low Code Engineer with strong computer science and cloud architecture expertise to help design, build, and evolve scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across modern cloud and low code platforms. This role is ideal for an engineer who thinks like a software architect, understands how systems fit together end-to-end, and has experience bringing production-grade products to life using a mix of low code tools, traditional programming, and cloud services. While Microsoft Power Platform is an important part of our ecosystem, this is not a Power Platform–only role. We are looking for someone whose foundational engineering skills can be applied across any cloud or low code environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to translate business needs into well designed technical solutions.
- Design and build cloud-based, low code and hybrid solutions with a strong emphasis on architecture, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Apply software engineering best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD, documentation) in low code and cloud environments.
- Design and implement integrations using APIs, event-based patterns, and cloud services.
- Contribute to Azure-based solutions such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Web Apps, and related services.
- Participate in solution reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support production systems by diagnosing issues, implementing fixes, and improving long term solution quality.
- Contribute to AI-enabled workflows and solutions using platforms such as Copilot Studio, Agentforce, or similar AI/agent frameworks.
- Apply strong computer science fundamentals to low code and cloud solution design.
- Design technical architectures that balance speed of delivery with long-term maintainability.
- Build and extend low code applications that behave like real software products, not prototypes.
- Develop and integrate custom logic where low code tools reach their limits.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, performance, and observability.
- Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements and align solutions to business outcomes.
- Produce clear, accurate technical documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Share best practices and lessons learned with the broader engineering team.
- Demonstrates strong verbal communication skills, effectively conveying technical concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent discipline (required)
- Proven experience delivering production systems, not just proofs of concept
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A product mindset: you care about reliability, usability, and long-term outcomes-term outcomes
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to continuously grow your technical skill set
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Strong foundation in computer science, including software design, data structures, and system architecture
- Proficiency in Python (required) with the ability to write complex, production-quality logic
- Experience with C#, JavaScript, or similar languages is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture concepts (compute, integration, identity, security, scalability)
- Hands-on experience working with APIs and system integrations
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to building high quality solutions
PLATFORM & TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE
- Experience building solutions in low code platforms, such as:
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
- Salesforce, Workday, or other enterprise low code environments
- Experience working in Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
- Experience building or integrating AI-driven solutions (e.g., Copilot Studio, Agentforce) is a strong asset
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per annum
