Full time BE / MCA / M Tech / MSc or Other qualifications in technology provided it is supported by excellent experience credentials.

Experience

Experience

5–8 years of experience as Release Manager / Environment Manager / DevOps Coordinator.

Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git, SVN).

Experience deploying applications across multiple environments.

Performance testing knowledge.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes.

Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills.

Ability to troubleshoot deployment/environment issues with Dev/Infra teams.

Senior level stakeholder management at AVP and above and vendor escalation

Comfortable providing weekend support.

Sensitivity with ongoing escalations to re-prioritising testing and hot fixes in coordination with stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the complete release calendar for MOCK, NFR, UAT, and Pre‑Prod environments.
• Coordinate with development, QA, business teams, and infrastructure teams to prepare for releases.
• Consolidate release scope, dependencies, and risks for each cycle.
• Ensure readiness of build artifacts, migration scripts, and configuration items.
• Oversee and execute deployments in all non-production environments.
• Validate deployment success and coordinate smoke testing with QA teams.
• Track deployment issues and drive immediate resolution with respective teams.
• Maintain release logs, rollback plans, and deployment checklists.
• Monitor environment availability, stability, and configuration consistency across MOCK, NFR, UAT, and Pre‑Prod.
• Coordinate environment refreshes, data loads, and access management.
• Escalate environment issues to infra/DevOps for timely resolution.
• Provide hands-on support on Saturday and/or Sunday for
• Deployment activities
• UAT/Business validation
• Environment stability monitoring
• Issue triaging and coordination with Dev/Infra teams
• Ensure smooth progress of release/testing activities during weekends.
• Rotate the weekend on-premise support in coordination with Testing team members.
• Take weekly off during a weekday (Mon–Fri) against weekend compoff, aligned with business needs.
• Conduct release readiness meetings and publish release plans.
• Communicate release status, issues, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Share daily/weekly reports on deployment status, environment health, and pending issues.
• Ensure adherence to change management processes and audit requirements.
• Maintain version control discipline and alignment with CI/CD standards.
• Improve release efficiency through automation and best practices.
• Test management and defect tracking: Jira, Zephyr
• Automation tools: Selenium, UFT, Qualitia
• Build & test tools: Maven, Cucumber, TestNG
• Operating Systems: Windows, UNIX, Linux
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, API testing, and Linux commands/scripting.
• Good in MIS reporting on MS excel, MS word
