We make crypto investing simple, safe and accessible for millions of Indians, from first-time investors in tier 2 and 3 cities to experienced traders. Our B2B infrastructure brand, Saber Money, is building stablecoin-native cross-border payment rails for Asia. Together, Mudrex and Saber are at the intersection of the two most significant shifts in global finance, the mainstreaming of digital assets and the transformation of cross-border payments.

The PR & Communications team drives how both brands are perceived by media, by policymakers, by the industry, and by the public.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Associate, PR & Communications to bring editorial judgment, strategic thinking, research depth, and cross-functional coordination to the PR and Communications team. You will work closely with the PR & Communications team lead to support spokesperson management, media relations, intelligence gathering, content production and communications for Mudrex. The right person obsessively reads the news, has a feel for what makes a story, and can write well under pressure.

What You Will Do

Media Monitoring & Intelligence

• Run a structured daily media monitoring process across domestic and global publications, tracking industry narratives, regulatory developments, competitor activity and emerging themes relevant to Mudrex.
• Monitor social media platforms daily for brand mentions, competitor moves and trending narratives in crypto, fintech, markets, finance and policy.
• Synthesise monitoring outputs into brief, actionable intelligence notes that allow the team to respond quickly or plan proactively.

Media Relations & Press

• Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, spokesperson quotes and reactive statements for news and media outlets.
• Support the development and maintenance of direct journalist relationships in collaboration with external agencies.
• Coordinate media opportunities end-to-end from pitching and follow-up to briefing materials and post-coverage tracking.

Content & Thought Leadership

• Research market trends, regulatory developments and crypto investment themes to support spokesperson social media profile building, story pitches, and expert commentary for organic and paid channels, as well as owned content covering text, visual, audio and video formats.
• Write and edit first drafts of op-eds, bylined articles and expert commentary for spokespeople, with a strong grasp of distinct tones of voice.
• Contribute to proprietary research properties including data reports, survey analyses, and flagship publications.

Spokesperson & Campaign Support

• Prepare briefing documents, talking points, interview prep packs and background research for spokesperson media interactions and public appearances.
• Support the profiling of multiple leaders across print, digital, podcast and broadcast formats.
• Assist in planning and executing PR campaigns, including thematic initiatives tied to market trends, regulatory events and products.

Policy & Industry Engagement

• Monitor policy developments and regulatory announcements relevant to crypto, stablecoins and fintech in India and international markets.
• Support Mudrex's engagement with industry bodies by tracking consultations, reviewing guidelines and preparing contribution inputs.

Operations & Coordination

• Manage day-to-day coordination with external agencies and freelancers, including briefings, content reviews and coverage reporting.
• Maintain editorial calendars, task trackers, and coverage databases.
• Coordinate paid media partnerships and cross-functional PR collaborations across internal teams.

What We Are Looking For

Experience & Background

• 3 to 4 years of experience in PR, communications or financial journalism, ideally in fintech, crypto, financial services or a fast-paced startup environment.
• Demonstrable experience drafting press materials such as press releases, op-eds, media pitches and spokesperson quotes that have been placed or published.
• Experience running end-to-end PR and brand campaigns from conceptualisation and execution to tracking performance and outcomes.
• Experience working with or alongside an external PR agency is preferred.
• Prior exposure to crypto, Web3, fintech or finance is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong English writing ability that is clear, concise, and adaptable across formats, from a media pitch to social media content to a CEO op-ed.
• Research capability: Ability to read a financial regulatory document, a market trend piece or a competitor announcement and extract what matters for a communications angle.
• Editorial instinct: A sense of what is newsworthy, what is not, and how to frame a story for different audiences.
• Organised and reliable under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Economics or a related field. Candidates with non-traditional backgrounds who have built strong writing and research skills through their careers are equally welcome.
• Proficiency with AI and project coordination tools.
• Familiarity with media monitoring and reporting tools is preferred.
