Develop and maintain clean, high-performance, and scalable code using PHP and the Symfony framework.Design and manage our MariaDB databases, including writing and optimizing complex queries.Build and support our applications, including database integration, interfaces, and new features.Work with our DevOps team to deploy and manage applications using AWS, ECS, and EKS.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects align with business goals.Actively participate in code reviews to maintain our high standards of quality.Assist in the testing and deployment of new products and features.Your Profile:

Proven experience as a Software Developer, with a strong preference for 3-5 years in the field.Solid, hands‑on experience with object-oriented PHP, particularly with the Symfony framework.Strong understanding of relational databases, specifically MariaDB or MySQL.Demonstrated experience with AWS, including hands‑on work with ECS and/or EKS (Kubernetes).Familiarity with caching services such as Valkey or Redis.Experience with front-end technologies like React/TypeScript is a strong asset.A solid grasp of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Docker, pipelines).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Must be currently located in and legally eligible to work in Canada.A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
