We are hiring Senior Full Stack Developer (React/Java – UI Focus)!
Role: Senior Full Stack Developer (React/Java – UI Focus)
Supporting: Large Financial Services Client
Location: Remote (U.S.) – Must work East Coast hours
Assignment Type: Contract Only
Duration: 6 Months
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong React and Java experience to join a fast-paced Agile team focused on building modern, data-driven applications. This opportunity is ideal for developers who enjoy creating intuitive UI experiences while contributing across the full application stack. The role offers a strong frontend focus (60/40 frontend to backend split) and the chance to work on enterprise modernization initiatives, scalable APIs, and visualization-heavy applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop modern, responsive UI applications using React
- Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop scalable full-stack solutions supporting data visualization and integration needs
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and intuitive user experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality applications
- Optimize applications for scalability, security, and performance
- Participate in full SDLC activities including design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation
- Write unit tests and contribute to automated testing initiatives
- Support CI/CD processes and engineering best practices
- Proactively identify opportunities for enhancements and technical improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
- Strong React frontend development experience
- Strong Java 8+ backend development experience (Java 21 preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST API development
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services
- Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Ability to own features end-to-end from database through UI delivery
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $50.00 and $62.49 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
