Job description

Our client, an American multinational mass-media and entertainment conglomerate, is hiring a Software Engineer to join their consumer licensing technology team in Glendale, CA.

This team is configuring and deploying Adaptive Planning, and as an Engineer on this team, you would be responsible for developing custom integrations between Adaptive Planning and other 3rd party applications using Java and Python. The ideal candidate would have previous experience developing solutions for Adaptive Planning.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field/work experience
Onsite 4 days per week
5 years of experience building highly scalable and performant production level applications.
Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, including model building, reporting and systems integration.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, data transformation, and enterprise reporting tools.
Hands-on experience of developing and deploying custom AI solutions using LLMs to automate business processes or improve business outcomes in enterprise environments

What You Will Do:

Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Adaptive Planning models, sheets and dashboards for enterprise-level forecast planning
Develop custom integrations between Adaptive Planning and other custom solutions using Java, Python, Custom Cloud Loader and RESTful APIs.
Design and develop and provide oversight for web solutions for our existing and new platform.
Analyze user stories, provide realistic estimations, and participate in sprint planning, scrums, demos, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with product, and other stakeholders in defining solutions that are scalable, easily maintainable and within the expected budget and timeline.
Create detailed software development documentation and assist in assigning tasks to team members.
Build well-designed, well-engineered, stable, performant applications using Java, Angular, and Node JS
