We are currently seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to support high-visibility initiatives within the federal space. This role will play a key part in advancing the adoption of emerging technologies and driving enterprise-level innovation.
Role Overview
As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for exploring and implementing new technologies through prototyping and proof-of-concept development. You will evaluate potential solutions, clearly communicate trade-offs, and help guide adoption across teams. In addition, you will provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate emerging technologies through hands-on prototyping and proof-of-concept development
- Assess and communicate the advantages, limitations, and risks of new technical solutions
- Contribute across development, operations, and security within cloud-based environments
- Lead efforts to integrate and scale new technologies across the organization
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 6–10 years of relevant professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years deploying production applications in AWS environments
- At least 3 years working with AI/ML components in production systems
- Strong programming experience with Python
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Familiarity with ML platforms and tools (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, Hugging Face, Weights & Biases)
- Experience with data analysis and manipulation using pandas
- Ability to visualize and communicate experimental results (e.g., matplotlib)
- Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving projects
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including client-facing experience
- U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
