The successful candidate will have a strong background in business development and a proven track record of winning new S&T programs. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build relationships with customers. You will partner with Portfolio Leads, Chief Engineers, Business Development, Contracts, <span class="inline-comment-marker" data-ref="2d9f6ecb-3316-40e8-9a0d-68fca1afda4b">Proposal, and Capture teams</span> to bring operationally impactful and technically captivating programs to MORSE.</p>
<h3><span class="inline-comment-marker valid" data-ref="3df3d62f-b41e-4258-ab5f-37ecfa471ebf">Responsibilities:</span></h3>
<ul>

<p><span class="inline-comment-marker" data-ref="e3438682-c102-4956-81e7-d2b40dc45071">Execute MORSE's</span> business development strategy aimed at expanding our presence within the DoD and the intelligence community.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Identify potential business opportunities and work collaboratively to <span class="inline-comment-marker" data-ref="5b13755f-d154-4549-879c-75301c6067db">develop compelling proposals</span> that highlight our unique value proposition.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within the DoD and the intelligence community, including program managers, acquisition officials, and other stakeholders.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure effective capture, proposals, and delivery of new programs.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span class="ui-provider a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak">Gather and analyze market intelligence on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to support business development efforts and identify new business opportunities.</span></p>

<p>Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies relevant to our product lines and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements:</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, engineering, computer science).</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span class="inline-comment-marker valid" data-ref="ef20f2a0-66a5-4751-bbde-76ef90f95297">2</span>-5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the DoD or the intelligence community.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience selling in technical domains such as artificial intelligence, software, or related areas is highly desired.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Knowledge of DARPA, the US Army, Air Force, Navy and other organizations in the Intelligence Community or Dept. of Defense is highly desired.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Proven track record of success in winning new programs and growing revenue through business development initiatives.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong understanding of the DoD and intelligence community acquisition processes, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and persuasively.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Familiarity with greenfield business development and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments.</p>
</li>

<p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>MORSE Corp’s salary range for this role carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to, prior experience, education, skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated. Depending on role eligibility, total compensation may also include bonus, stock, 401(k) match, paid time off, medical, dental, vision and life insurance.</p>
<p><span data-teams="true">Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year. MORSE maintains an “open” leave policy that does not restrict exempt, regular full-time employees to a specific number of paid sick or vacation days.
