Job Description

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Pitchbook, you will drive strategic cross-functional initiatives for the Enterprise Technology team. Your role will involve leveraging robust technical expertise to unify cross-functional teams towards defined program milestones and deliverables. You will be responsible for removing bottlenecks, escalating risks/issues as needed, and ensuring effective collaboration across teams. Specifically, you will lead the execution of multi-year Enterprise Technology roadmaps to ensure successful delivery and implementation.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Serve as the Technical Program Manager, owning planning, execution, and delivery for programs or high-profile capabilities
  • Partner with business partners, enterprise architects, technical leads, and key stakeholders to ensure requirements are defined and scoped
  • Dive into technical details, provide feedback to ensure solutions meet business requirements
  • Build a robust plan identifying deliverables, required resources, and timing for solution build
  • Drive dependency mapping across systems, teams, and roadmaps, ensuring clear sequencing and proactive risk management
  • Facilitate architecture and design reviews to ensure technical feasibility and cross-system alignment
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, align roadmaps, unblock teams, and support planning activities
  • Hold the team accountable for meeting key deliverables
  • Define clear goals, prioritize work, and use data to drive decisions in partnership with stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and conflicts, escalating when necessary
  • Keep the team and relevant stakeholders informed on progress towards goals
  • Implement structure, order, and clarity to ambiguous problems with little direction
  • Coach teams in an agile environment to support planning and delivery, making processes more efficient
  • Support the company's vision and values through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Collaborate with other TPMs and Program Managers to continuously improve program management best practices
  • *Qualifications Required:**
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience
  • 2+ years of vendor management experience
  • Ability to dive into technical details and translate them into non-technical terms
  • Experience with program managing cross-functional programs and understanding program management fundamentals
  • Deep understanding of software product lifecycle and applying it to enterprise vendor-owned software
  • Experience working across globally dispersed teams, prioritizing and focusing on goals
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage diverse audiences locally and internationally
  • Experience in Agile environment, coaching teams in software development practices
