Job Description

The Information Security Team at Morningstar is seeking a Security Analyst L1 to join their Security Operations Center Team in Mumbai. As a Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing threats, and responding to cyber security incidents to protect Morningstar's Infrastructure, Data, and People. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 24x7 monitoring operations for security alerts
  • Detecting, analyzing, reporting, and responding to cyber security events and incidents
  • Reviewing and escalating alerts
  • Operationalizing new adversary detection methods
  • Assessing the security impact of security alerts and traffic anomalies
  • Generating reports for technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders

Qualifications required for this role include:

  • A bachelors degree and 2-3+ years experience in Information Security
  • Excellent communication skills and understanding of cyber security fundamentals
  • Interest in keeping up with the latest security trends
  • Experience with security tools
  • Add-on Certification like Security+, CompTIA+, Splunk, CEH
