The Information Security Team at Morningstar is seeking a Security Analyst L1 to join their Security Operations Center Team in Mumbai. As a Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing threats, and responding to cyber security incidents to protect Morningstar's Infrastructure, Data, and People. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 24x7 monitoring operations for security alerts
- Detecting, analyzing, reporting, and responding to cyber security events and incidents
- Reviewing and escalating alerts
- Operationalizing new adversary detection methods
- Assessing the security impact of security alerts and traffic anomalies
- Generating reports for technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders
Qualifications required for this role include:
- A bachelors degree and 2-3+ years experience in Information Security
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of cyber security fundamentals
- Interest in keeping up with the latest security trends
- Experience with security tools
- Add-on Certification like Security+, CompTIA+, Splunk, CEH
