Job Description

As a Scientific and Regulatory Affairs professional at Mondelz International, you will play a key role in executing the scientific and regulatory affairs strategy for your respective categories and geographical area. You will use your scientific and regulatory expertise to ensure that the company's portfolio remains in regulatory and policy compliance. Your responsibilities will include executing policies, regulatory programs, and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the scientific and regulatory affairs strategy to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to address regulatory business risks and opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and advice to RDQ and business units on SARA opportunities and issues.
  • Offer scientific and regulatory affairs expertise for technical regulatory developments.
  • Assist in responses to challenges and crisis management.
  • Ensure ingredients, product composition, claims, and labeling comply with regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate developments in scientific and regulatory affairs to stakeholders.
  • Propose and implement business solutions to external regulatory changes.
  • Develop a strong understanding of regulatory, scientific, and nutrition risks and opportunities in your market.
  • Represent the company at external meetings and advocate for company positions.

Qualifications Required:

  • Experience and knowledge in scientific affairs, regulatory frameworks, and building collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to conduct technical assessments and support issues management and strategy development.
  • Creative thinking and effective communication skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Additional language skills for interpreting laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with SARA core knowledge topics such as flavors, additives, GMO, organic, dietary, or religious suitability.
