Become a key player in aerospace quality as a Receiving Inspector II. Conduct First Article Inspections and verify dimensional compliance utilizing precision instruments in a dynamic environment.
This role demands proficiency in inspecting detail parts, sub-assemblies, and major assemblies to engineering specifications. You will work collaboratively with quality assurance and engineering teams, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. A primary focus is on maintaining high standards through effective use of the I-Tag system and supporting root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform First Article Inspections on various components
- Monitor and manage I-Tag status for compliance
- Collaborate on root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Inspect and oversee rejected parts in production
- Utilize precision instruments for dimensional inspections
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years as Quality Inspector in aerospace
- Experience with FAI processes and I-Tag systems
- Knowledge of GD&T and MHICA technical specifications
- Proficiency with measuring tools and software
- Education diploma in a related field
