Duties

• Process and review medical billing claims using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems.
• Manage medical collections by following up on unpaid or delayed claims, resolving discrepancies, and communicating effectively with insurance providers and patients.
• Prepare and verify payroll data for healthcare staff, ensuring correct hours worked, overtime, and benefits are accurately reflected.
• Collaborate with medical office teams to update billing procedures, improve coding accuracy, and optimize revenue cycle workflows.
• Generate reports on billing performance, collections, and payroll metrics to support management decision-making.

Experience

• Proven experience and familiarity in CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and medical terminology.
• Prior work experience in a healthcare setting involving medical office operations or administrative support is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems for billing, coding, and record management.
• Strong understanding of medical records management and compliance requirements related to healthcare billing.
• Demonstrated ability to perform accurate medical collection activities and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
• Knowledge of insurance claim processes and familiarity with medical coding guidelines is essential for success in this role. Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
