Mini Melts of Canada operates a manufacturing facility in Alberta and has distribution centres in major cities across the country. Mini Melts Ice Cream is currently sold in convenience stores, gas stations, movie theaters, highway stops, amusement parks and many other locations. Our ice cream requires the extreme cold temperature of -40c so we supply our own specialized freezers and manage our own distribution network.

Job Description

Do you want to join an exciting Team where you're valued and appreciated? Mini Melts is looking for a dynamic Team Member to join us! This key position (Route Driver) involves servicing customer accounts within a specific operational territory, maintaining inventory, stocking of machines, merchandising, diagnostics of machines and most importantly - providing excellent customer care.

We want someone who has a positive attitude, is detail oriented and will work independently on the road. You will be driving a Sprinter Cargo van to perform deliveries.

Job Responsibilities:

• Replenishing ice cream at customer locations
• Driving from our warehouse to locations throughout Ontario (occasional overnight stays required)
• Use Android device and printer so completing delivieries
• Receiving cash/cheque payments from customers
• Receiving ice cream at the warehouse and managing inventory
• Stocking vending machines (training will be provided)
• Servicing vending machines (training will be provided)

Job Requirements:

• Dependability
• Organization skills
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently
• Must provide excellent customer service
• Clean driving record: G class license
• 3 years of insurance history with no claims
• Defensive and safe driving skills
• Clean criminal record: must be bondable - police check will be performed
• Valid work permit or be a permanent resident of Canada
• You must be mechanically inclined, be able to perform basic troubleshooting, and able to use basic hand tools (screwdrivers, etc.)
