Full-Time ICU Registered Nurse Opportunity

Enhance patient care as a Full-Time Registered Nurse in the ICU/CCU Department at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. This temporary position requires versatile shift availability, including weekends and holidays.

The role focuses on delivering critical nursing care with an emphasis on adult patients. Candidates must demonstrate their expertise in adult critical care, including two years of experience in ventilator management and PACU settings. You will engage in various procedures, from IV initiation to wound management, while delivering high-quality patient and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critical patients
• Manage ventilators and BiPap equipment effectively
• Document in Electronic Health Records per CNO standards
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal outcomes
• Participate in patient and family education

Requirements

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Proof of COVID-19 and other vaccinations
• Minimum two years of adult critical care experience
• BLS-HCP certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
