This role is based full time at the NYCreates site in Albany, New York and is critical to advancing Micron’s High NA EUV roadmap. You will collaborate closely with Technology Development and Equipment Development teams in Boise and Hiroshima, as well as suppliers and consortium partners, while safeguarding Micron’s intellectual property. The work is highly visible, technically deep, and crucial to future device scaling. This role supports the design and deployment of AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Own High NA EUV scanner performance including availability, reliability, efficiency, and matching
- Lead equipment lifecycle activities such as installation, PM strategy, upgrades, fixing issues, and documentation
- Drive monitoring and improvement of imaging stability, overlay, focus, defectivity, and source performance
- Partner with vendors, NYCreates, facilities, and PAC teams on equipment, safety, and infrastructure requirements
- Act as technical authority for advanced numerical aperture EUV, offering mentorship, training, and recommendations to engineers and leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting sophisticated semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Hands-on experience with lithography equipment, performance monitoring, and excursion management
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to lead complex technical investigations
- Experience collaborating multi-functionally with vendors, facilities, and process teams
- AI proficiency or AI‑enabled ways of working
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in engineering or a related field
- Direct experience with EUV or High NA EUV scanners and related subsystems
- Experience in technology development or R&D fab environments
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring of engineers or technicians
- Experience working in consortium or multi-company environments
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$108,000.00 - $183,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
