Material handler / Inventory analyst

Job Description

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

• Ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. Conducts physical inventories and leads cycle counts. Analyzes and, when able, corrects cycle count discrepancies. Audits incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy. Compiles and documents all transactions for data entry.
• Ensure Timely and Accurate Receipts of both Incoming Inventory Shipments and Non-Inventory Shipments
• Stock, Maintain, and Deliver Warehouse Inventory
• Administer Inventory Control Functions
• Prepare and Ensure Timely Deliveries of Identified Shipments to Internal and External Customers
• Lead and/or Participate in Area Projects and Improvement Efforts
• Provides assistance and information to other work groups
• Promote a Safe Working Environment

• We are looking for a resource for Ahmedabad(Sanand)Gujarat location, should be expertise in inventory and logistics management.
• Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy.
• Good Interface and communication with internal and external customers to address the requests and solve problems.
• Implementing mechanisms to manage inventory, material control, and accounting as well as supply reports.
• Ensure 100% accuracy of Material Master as per department parameters.
• Conduct System Vs physical counts of products and reconcile with data to maintain adequate inventory level.
• Responsible for logistic/inventory controls & audits.
• Expertise in MS excel and computer skills.
• Rich industrial experience in Material handling & Inventory management.

Qualification:

MBA or M.Com or experience of 1-2 Years in same field.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating software tool related to inventory control & logistics.
• Knowledge on logistic documentation requirements for internal, external, local, oversea shipment IN/OUT.
• Quality tools for manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain management include statistical process control (SPC), control charts, cause-and-effect diagrams, Pareto charts, and cross-functional process mapping etc..
• Out of box thinking to fix daily issue with latest tools or technologies, AI awareness
• Deep understanding about the process and process improvements with new technologies like AI
• Good communication writing, speaking, listening.
