Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Microbiology Laboratory Technician located in Dombivli Thane. The technician will handle day-to-day tasks such as collecting and processing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, performing tests in various domains as Bacteriology, Mycobact, Mycology, and ensuring adherence to quality control protocols. The role includes preparing reports, following strict health and safety guidelines, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and reliable diagnostic results.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine, with a strong understanding of diagnostic testing procedures
• Hands-on expertise in Laboratory Skills such as Media preparation, Culture and sensitivity (manual/ automated) AFB culture, Genexpert, fungus culture, Microscopy.
• Experience with managing Laboratory Equipment, including maintenance and calibration
• Knowledge and application of Quality Control protocols and standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to health and safety practices in a laboratory setting
• BSc Microbiology or Biotechnology
• Prior experience in a diagnostic laboratory is an advantage
