Job Description

• Provide strategic legal advisory support to business teams across transportation, logistics, and allied operational functions.
• Advise on and support commercial transactions, business arrangements, and strategic partnerships.
• Lead and manage compliance matters, ensuring adherence to applicable Indian laws and regulatory requirements relevant to the logistics and transportation sector.
• Designing and implementing scalable compliance frameworks.
• Support drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks arising from business operations and expansion initiatives.
• Oversee dispute management and litigation strategy in coordination with external counsel.
• Manage relationships with external legal advisors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Compliance, and senior leadership.
• Contribute to strengthening legal processes, governance frameworks, and scalable best practices aligned with business growth.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Manager should have:

• A Law degree from a recognized university.
• 7 - 12 years of post‑qualification experience in a corporate or law‑firm environment.
• Strong advisory skillset, with the ability to provide practical, business‑oriented legal solutions.
• Experience with building and managing charter compliances.
• Experience across compliance, transactions, and commercial advisory work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving business environment with multiple stakeholders.
