Join our team as an Aerospace Methods Engineer, working Monday to Friday in a tier 1 aerospace facility. Develop manufacturing integration concepts while ensuring compliance with engineering requirements.
Reporting to the Manager of Product Definition, this role demands expertise in manufacturing integration and assembly processes. You will utilize your engineering knowledge to create manufacturing bills of materials, estimate flows, and develop tooling requirements. Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams, your insights will drive cost and schedule improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop manufacturing plans and tooling requirements
- Estimate assembly flow-time and production hours
- Perform automation feasibility studies for manufacturing
- Determine assembly breaks based on plant capacity
- Deliver technical presentations on manufacturing plans
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in methods engineering or manufacturing
- Proficient in 2D and 3D engineering drawings
- Familiarity with aerospace MRB processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s in aerospace or mechanical engineering
