Software Engineer (Frontend) – Mechanical Modeling and Simulation

Full-time

US West (Remote) or Germany (Remote) or Berlin

OVERALL FUNCTION:

Being part of our Software Department, this role is vital for delivering high-quality software that powers

shows such as Ed Sheeran and Metallica, festivals like Roskilde and Montreux Jazz Festival, providing a

smooth and reliable user experience to our customers at all stages from planning to execution.

As a Software Engineer specialized in mechanical modeling and simulation, you'll play a crucial role in

developing advanced software solutions to simulate, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and develop software applications and libraries for mechanical modeling and simulation,

leveraging state-of-the-art algorithms and techniques.

Implement and maintain UX/UI components in TypeScript/Vue.js
Implement and maintain numerical methods and mathematical models to simulate mechanical

behavior

Write clean, maintainable, and future-proof code, with unit tests
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and domain experts to understand modeling

requirements, translating them into scalable and efficient software solutions

Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review and

Retrospective)

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Math
Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role
Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
Proficiency in at least one 3D CAD modeling software
Understanding of Git and setting up CI/CD pipelines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Math
Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Matlab
Strong understanding of numerical methods, mathematical modeling, and algorithms relevant

to mechanical modeling and scientific data visualization

Knowledge of machine learning techniques applied to mechanical modeling and simulation.
