Job description

As a Sr. Full Stack Developer I, you’ll be supporting a highly effective agile scrum team. You will deliver hardened, effective, scalable software solutions through the completion of user stories across agile sprints. You will collaborate with team members and provide guidance and leadership to the technical team with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do:

  • Participate in and contribute to all agile scrum ceremonies
  • Complete user stories to deliver new features and enhancements to a web application portfolio within sprint deadlines
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and issue resolution

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS EOD and fitness determination. DHS EOD requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in information systems design and application development
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS EOD and fitness determination. DHS EOD requires U.S. Citizenship
  • Demonstrated experience with application programming on large-scale Database Management Systems (DBMS)
  • Proven ability to develop complex software solutions that meet detailed design objectives
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and technical documentation standards
  • Experience leading or mentoring developers and providing technical guidance
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

SALARY RANGE: $124,000 - $147,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including: 

  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
    • Performance-based bonuses
    • Company-paid training and/or certifications
    • Referral bonuses
