MEtime Psychiatry & Co. is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and professional licensed therapists (LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LICSW) in Maryland to join our growing team. This position will serve as an Independent Contractor (IC) 1099 employee.

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and professional therapists to join our growing team as 1099 Independent Contractors.

This role is ideal for:

• Experienced clinicians seeking flexibility and autonomy
• Newly fully licensed therapists seeking a supportive practice environment
• Therapists transitioning into outpatient private practice

This position begins part-time with strong potential to grow into a full-time caseload based on your goals and availability.

Compensation

• 1099 Independent Contractor
• $65–$80 per clinical hour based on licensure, experience, and client volume
• Flexible scheduling
• Opportunity to build and grow
• Part-time position with potential to transition to full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy services to adolescents and adults
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Complete accurate and timely progress notes and clinical documentation
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities
• Apply trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches to patient care
• Maintain timely, compliant, and audit-ready documentation in accordance with practice, payer, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatric providers and interdisciplinary clinical team members to ensure coordinated care
• Support clients through their mental wellness journey
• Deliver care with empathy, professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and a strong commitment to patient-centered treatment
• Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism and exceptional customer service in all interactions with clients, families, referral sources, and team members
• Foster positive internal and external relationships through effective communication, collaboration, mutual respect, and a commitment to excellence in providing care

Qualifications

Required

• Active Maryland license in good standing:
• LPC
• LCPC
• LCSW
• LICSW
• Provide telehealth, hybrid, and/or in-person services from our Waldorf, Maryland office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Experience with telehealth technology and electronic health records
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Preferred

• Licensed in DC, and/or Virginia
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Interest in outpatient mental health and private practice growth
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
