Join our innovative team as a Senior Data Scientist and take the lead in making impactful contributions across diverse product areas. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to tackle intricate challenges using data analysis. You'll leverage data-driven insights to guide teams, propose hypotheses, and apply robust analytical methods to validate them. Responsibilities
- Analyze complex data sets to resolve challenging problems through analytical and statistical techniques.
- Utilize your technical skills in quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining to drive product strategies.
- Establish and assess success through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring key performance metrics.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to inform and implement product strategy and investment decisions.
- Develop a long-term vision and roadmap for programs and products.
- Work alongside executives to define and enhance data platforms and instrumentation.
- Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
- Define success metrics, anticipate changes, and set team objectives.
- Support the development of roadmaps and coordinate analytics efforts across various teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab).
- 8+ years of experience leading analytics work in an individual contributor role, collaborating closely with Engineering and cross-functional partners, and guiding data-informed product planning and strategy development.
- Proven track record managing complex analytics projects across multiple stakeholders and disciplines, including Engineering, PM/TPM, Analytics, and Finance.
- Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and causal inference methods.
- Ability to convey complex technical topics clearly, succinctly, and actionably.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience presenting analytical results to leadership teams to influence strategic decisions.
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field.
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical or scientific field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research).
- 10+ years of experience conducting complex quantitative analyses in product analytics.
- Demonstrated success in integrating AI tools to refine workflows and achieve measurable outcomes (e.g., efficiency improvements, quality enhancements).
- Experience in adhering to and implementing responsible and ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessments, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy evaluations).
- Evidence of continuous AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying updated on emerging AI technologies.
Public Compensation:
$210,000/year to $281,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
