Job Description

MergeYourData is a RevOps consultancy currently growing 150% YoY. We work with mid-market B2B companies who need their CRM to function as a true revenue engine. We are not an order-taker agency. We are a strategic partner, and our clients expect measurable results.

We are hiring our first dedicated Account Manager as we scale our delivery pod structure. This is a foundational role.

The Role

You own the client relationship. Every client in your portfolio knows who you are, hears from you proactively, and trusts that things are moving. The RevOps Strategist and RevOps Technologist are heads-down building. Your job is the bridge that keeps the relationship strong while the work gets done.

You are not expected to build in HubSpot. You are expected to hold an intelligent conversation about it with a senior client and manage expectations without losing credibility.

What You Own

  • All client communication, calls, and relationship health
  • Proactive updates after every meaningful action taken on an account
  • Scope conversations, expectation setting, and renewal discussions
  • Flagging at-risk accounts before the client feels it
  • Translating client feedback to the internal team with full context

What You Do Not Own

  • HubSpot strategy, builds, or technical decisions
  • Campaign architecture or workflow logic
  • Anything the strategist or technologist is responsible for executing

What We Are Looking For

Required:

  • 3+ years in account management, customer success, or a client-facing role
  • Proven track record retaining and growing client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to have commercial conversations: pushing back on scope, holding the line on timelines, delivering difficult news without damaging the relationship
  • Highly organized across multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Conversationally fluent in HubSpot - lifecycle stages, pipeline logic, reporting concepts
  • Proficient with AI tools, specifically Claude Code

, as a daily work accelerator. You use AI to draft communications, prepare for calls, summarize notes, and think through problems. If you are not already building AI into how you work, this role is not the right fit.

Strongly preferred:

  • B2B services, agency, or consulting background
  • Exposure to RevOps or CRM implementation projects
  • Experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools
  • You have built prompts, workflows, or systems using Claude or similar tools — bonus if you can show us something

Compensation

Base salary: CAD $40,000 to $50,000

Revenue Under Management (RUM): 4% of monthly client revenue managed

Total Annual Compensation is approximately CAD $95,000 to $110,000

Days 1 to 30: base salary only. RUM begins on day 31 as accounts are formally assigned.
