Mercer Experience Team

Job Description:

As a member of the Mercer Experience Team, you will serve as one of the first points of contact between Mercer University and prospective students and their families.  You will play a key role in Mercer’s Office of Residential Undergraduate Admissions through the following responsibilities:

• Facilitating campus tours
• Assisting with the front desk in the EPM Admissions and Welcome Center
• Providing top tier customer service to our guests
• Staffing admissions event days

...All while showing why you love being a Mercer Bear!  Admissions events may include Discover Mercer, Make It Mercer!, Saturday Visits, Scholarship Events, etc.  Students that are interested in this role should be prepared to work anywhere from 4-6 Saturdays per semester in addition to potential weekly shift(s) and training sessions.

HIRING TIMELINE AND DETAILS:

This job application will close on Wednesday, August 26. If selected to interview, you will be contacted via email soon after. Interviews will take place the first and second week of September, with a tentative hire date of 9/8/26. Seven weeks of paid training would begin tentatively on 9/14/26, and students are added to the shift rotation based on availability once training is complete.
