Job Description
As a Program Manager at Medtronic, your role is to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement from third-party technology service providers. You will be responsible for daily interactions with Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms, managing contracts, and supplier relationships to optimize performance and value creation. Reporting to the Senior IT Manager at Medtronic's Engineering and Innovation Center in Hyderabad, you will be part of the Global IT's Vendor Management Office, focusing on governance and partnership with the top 50 strategic suppliers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the Senior IT Manager and other Program Managers to execute the VMO strategy for Global IT's services suppliers.
- Meeting annual cost and quality goals, ensuring vendors adhere to contractual performance while maintaining positive relationships.
- Working with internal customers and IT services suppliers to align requirements with capabilities, enhance communication, and improve collaboration.
- Serving as a subject matter expert in enforcing contractual requirements and resolving conflicts with MSP and BPO suppliers.
- Building and maintaining local relationships with top India-based IT services suppliers.
- Driving quality and performance improvements through SLA/KPI metrics and customer satisfaction scores.
- Delivering financial value through cost savings, cost avoidance, and supplier-driven efficiency.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MCA, or MSc with 12+ years of IT experience.
- 8+ years of experience in IT operations, procurement, or vendor management.
- 6+ years of experience working with large multinational IT services suppliers such as Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc.
- Proficiency in managing vendor management data and working with global teams.
