Job description

The Compliance Auditor supports MedStar Family Choice's program integrity efforts by conducting provider audits, reviewing claims and coding practices, and identifying potential fraud, waste, abuse, and compliance issues. This role analyzes trends, prepares audit findings, recommends corrective actions, and partners with internal teams and regulatory agencies to help ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements while promoting ethical and accurate business practices.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree preferred
4 years related experience required

Licenses and Certifications

CCS-Certified Coding Specialist At least one coding credential required: Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Associate (CCA), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
