As a Junior Software QA Test Engineer (Validation Engineer) at Medpace in Mumbai, your role will involve working closely with developers and end users to ensure that applications meet user needs throughout the software life cycle. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing testing using various methodologies such as manual, exploratory, and automated testing.
• Creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and other project documentation.
• Participating in constructive peer review of test cases.
• Identifying and reporting software defects and inconsistencies.
• Reviewing, analyzing, and supplementing requirement specifications to ensure 100% test coverage.
• Helping facilitate the execution of acceptance test scripts by end users.

Qualifications required for this role include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in writing and executing manual testing for complex software applications; experience in automated testing is a plus.
• Experience in communicating and collaborating within cross-departmental teams consisting of software developers, department leads, and end users.
• Excellent computer skills, analytical abilities, written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in the regulated healthcare industry is a plus.
