Key Responsibilities
- Build meaningful relationships with a select patient panel.
- Conduct thorough intake and clinical assessments without rushing.
- Work closely with our physician in a true collaborative partnership during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable and efficient environment.
- Assist with and coordinate advanced diagnostic and preventive testing.
- Manage patient records by accurately inputting information into electronic health records (EHR) and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate comprehensive care plans and follow up with patients personally.
- Serve as a primary point of contact, responding to patient needs with care and attention.
- Apply expanded clinical skills in a thoughtful, patient-centered environment.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Phlebotomy experience
- Two years of related medical experience (EKG, injections, vitals, triage, etc.)
- Two years of knowledge in examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures
- Two years of knowledge in medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care
- Two years of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient practices.
- Familiarity with specific EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, Athena).
- Experience with patient education and health promotion.
