Software Developer Intern

McKesson seeks a Software Developer Intern for Summer 2026 to analyze, design, and develop application solutions in a hybrid work environment in Saint-Laurent, QC.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Analyze small application requests, enhancements, and intake items from business and IT stakeholders
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and solution options
• Design and develop lightweight applications, prototypes, scripts, or automations as appropriate
• Support testing, validation, and documentation of delivered solutions
• Perform impact analysis on existing applications and processes
• Assist with backlog grooming, prioritization, and status reporting
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to ensure solutions meet expectations

About You

What you'll need:

• Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary program (college or university) in Computer Science, Information Systems/Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable learning new tools and technologies
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to ask questions and seek feedback
• Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written
• Preferred: Familiarity with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of HTML
• Preferred: Exposure to .NET and RPG development
